Meeting our service
The Inclusion Team covers Inclusion and Elective Home Education.
The Inclusion service provides information, advice, and guidance to schools. This is to support inclusive practice and the prevention of exclusion. You may meet us when working together with the school to support your child. This may be during a ‘team around the family meeting’.
If a child is excluded, you may want to ask us for advice.
If your child is Electively Home Educated, you will come across us on an at least an annual basis. We will assess and ensure the suitability of home education.
What can families expect from the service?
If a school contacts the Inclusion service for support, we will have contact with you during the TAF meeting.
With EHE, you will hear from us on an annual basis when we contact you to assess suitability. This may be through an EHE booklet, your own report or a home visit. You can also contact us if you have any questions about EHE.
