Aims for the session:
We are delighted to invite you to our upcoming parent workshop and training on developing essential independence skills! We hope that this session will equip you with strategies to support your child in everyday tasks, such as dressing, using cutlery, organizing belongings, and following routines.
Led by experienced occupational therapists, our sessions will explore ways to build your child’s confidence, motor skills, and problem-solving abilities, making daily activities easier and more enjoyable. Whether your child struggles with fine motor tasks, initiating tasks, or sequencing activities, we’ll provide tailored advice to help them succeed.
Information to note:
- There will be an opportunity towards the end of the session to break out into small groups to connect with other parents and share your experiences for those who would like to.
- All attendees will receive completion certificates and resource packs.
- Refreshments will be provided.
- Please ensure you have completed the google form document and indicate which sessions you would like to attend.
Whether your child has been diagnosed with motor skills differences or you simply want to better understand how you can support your child’s development of their independence skills, this training is for you!
