Sutton Information, Advice and Support Service (SIASS)

SIASS provides confidential, impartial information, advice and support to parents / carers, children and young people with special educational needs and disability (SEND).  SIASS works at ”arms length” to other Cognus services and the Local Authority, in line with the SEN Code of Practice 2015.
We believe that children with SEND are most likely to achieve their full potential when parents, schools, the Local Authority and other professionals work together.
What is an Information, Advice and Support Service? This short video explains our role and how we work.
Our aim is to ensure that your voice is heard and that you are actively involved in any decisions.  We do not tell you what to do or make decisions on your behalf.  SIASS adheres to the Council for Disabled Children’s (CDC) Minimum Standards for SEND information, advice and support services
