Palace for life Education, Training and Employment: PL PFA Traineeship
We would like to invite 16 – 23 year olds, who are not currently in education, training or full-time employment (NEET), to attend our 2021 February Traineeship programme.
The Traineeship will initially be run online over 2.5 days with the potential to move to in-person delivery at Selhurst Park-Crystal Palace Football Club, in line with government guidelines.
All young people will receive mentoring support throughout the course as well as the chance to gain accredited qualifications. The core qualification will be in Employability and Personal and Social Development. In addition to employability workshops, the course explores presentation skills, leadership skills, teamwork, money management and social action. We also explore personal and social development and health and well-being.
Alongside qualified Palace For Life staff, will be guest speakers and employers presenting opportunities and insights from various industries.
Pathways and opportunities will include:
- Level 1/2 accredited Employability qualification
- Accredited Money Management qualification
- Construction: CSCS – Health and Safety
- Events: Stewarding, Security and Customer Service
- Sport: Football and Multisport Coaching
- Education: Teaching Assistance and School Jobs
Open days and induction will be held on Tuesday 16th of February 2020. The programme will start on Tuesday 23rd February 2021.
