Traveller Education Superheroes!!!
Cognus’ Traveller Education Service supports and works directly with some amazing Gypsy, Roma and Traveller children and young people. We want to highlight and celebrate some of their achievements with you.
Below you will find examples of inspiration, success, positivity and/or progress from these superheroes that we support in schools…
ATTENDANCE MATTERS
Louise, one of our Year 3 pupils, has made a massive improvement with her attendance (over 90% so far this year compared to just 70% last year).
As a result of this, her focus in class and academic progress have both improved and she is growing in confidence every day.

BACK TO SCHOOL
One of our Year 5 pupils has just started a 12-week placement at a new school. They have not been in school for the last 8 months as they were finding it really hard.
They have made a really good start at the new school and we are all so proud of their achievement.
