We not only welcome but have encouraged the review of the services announced by Cllr Marian James and have contributed to the scope of that review. Our focus is to work in partnership to ensure that services that we deliver on behalf of the Council continue to improve and to inject pace into that process. The recent reports submitted to the People Committee and the feedback from Ofsted and the DfE all recognise the improvements being made by Cognus in partnership with the Council. We will work with Council officers to commission an independent review and to agree tight timelines for that review to report back with its findings and recommendations.
