Paving the Way have been busy this month, with 2 workshops.
The first was facilitated by Sutton Music Service, and the children enjoyed learning about all things percussion, and experimenting with all the instruments. The families were also supported by colleagues from London Borough Sutton Family Hub.
The second workshop was all things holiday related. The children had a lovely time creating beach scenes, floating origami boats and making lollipops, all their creations were taken home in a personalised beach bag!
The workshops provide an invaluable opportunity for us to observe the children and speak with the parents in a relaxed, less formal setting.
In total we have supported 20 families this summer.
